      <turbo:content><![CDATA[<header><h1>INPROITEC and MPES Sign Major Contract for the Modernization of Catoca’s Processing Plant (CT2)</h1></header><figure><img alt="" src="https://static.tildacdn.com/tild3330-6464-4638-b463-613538633136/__2026-07-03_003937.png"/></figure><div class="t-redactor__text"><strong>Project Overview &amp; Objectives</strong><br /><br />The primary focus of this 9-month partnership is to execute a comprehensive technical audit, optimize operations, and formulate a targeted investment plan for the modernization of <strong>Treatment Plant No. 2 (CT2)</strong> at the <strong>Sociedade Mineira de Catoca (SMC)</strong> in Angola.<br /><br />The scope of the contract covers the following key operational pillars:<br /><ul><li data-list="bullet"><strong>Technological Auditing:</strong> A deep evaluation of the existing processing flowsheet—including crushing, milling, gravity separation, flotation, and advanced X-ray transmission (XRT) systems.</li><li data-list="bullet"><strong>Operational Optimization:</strong> Pinpointing structural bottlenecks, reducing equipment downtime, and maximizing diamond recovery while maintaining crystal integrity.</li><li data-list="bullet"><strong>Sustainability &amp; Safety:</strong> Implementing energy-saving frameworks (evaluating kWh/t and renewable energy opportunities), recycling water, and ensuring strict compliance with local safety and environmental standards.</li><li data-list="bullet"><strong>Knowledge Transfer:</strong> MPES will supply high-end equipment—including a <em>Drop weight tester</em>, a <em>Continuous Pilot Autogenous Grinding Mill</em>, and a <em>Bond Ball Mill</em>—which will ultimately become the property of INPROITEC.
